Gone fishing?

[05:27] Fae Ruath peers around the tree at the backs of the two sitting there
[05:28] Kahlan tosses some breadcrums close and whispers to Markus "you have the bag ready?"
[05:30] Markus looks up "for what? I was a bit in thoughts, I am sorry"
[05:31] Kahlan sighs "A bag... for the ducks... Were you sleeping?"
[05:31] Markus: "daydreaming maybe" he looks behind "here is an old bag"
[05:32] Kahlan nods "wonderful...when they come close...jump them and put them in the bag...." She sees the duck getting closer, and she tosses some more bread "here ducks... come get your lunch..."
[05:34] Fae Ruath ducks back behind the tree when the man looks behind him and waits a moment before again peering around the trunk at the two. She goes a bit wide eyed and picks up a rock nearby and tosses it past the humans into the water near the ducks.
[05:34] Kahlan sees some splashing water "what was that!...a fish?" She grumbles as she sees the ducks flee "must have been a huge fish...."
[05:35] Fae Ruath giggles and has to cover her mouth with one hand as she looks around near her feet and reaches for another rock with the other hand
[05:35] Markus: "one of your flying fishes maybe" he laughs
[05:36] Kahlan laughs "I am telling you...that one was really flying...."
[05:37] Fae Ruath muffles a startled sound when the music stops and ducks further back behind the tree
[05:37] Kahlan slowly turns around and whispers to Markus "did you hear anything?"
[05:38] Markus: "uhh ohh I heard nothing, still dreaming"
[05:39] Kahlan looks down at him and tosses some crums at him "you and your daydreaming... " She looks around and then turns back, facing the water "I bet you dont like my music...."
[05:40] Markus: "I love the music that is why I am dreaming"
[05:41] Kahlan smiles and wets her lips
[05:41] Fae Ruath waits a moment then curiousity gets the best of her and she starts to lean to peer around the side of the tree again at the pair
[05:41] Kahlan ruffles Markus' hair playfully "perhaps a fish will jump in your lap...."
[05:42] Markus smiles up to Kahlan "that would be good, saves a lot of work"
[05:43] Kahlan: "I could use a rod to catch some fish....But you never know with the flying fish around"
[05:44] Markus looks confused "my rod is not for fishing"
[05:45] Kahlan laughs loud "what is it for then? For something useful?"
[05:45] Markus: "other things, rather useful" grins and winks
[05:46] Kahlan: "some fish will actually bite with your old rod..." Her eyes widen and she swats his head "Behave you!"
[05:46] Markus: "if they jump on my lap they must be female then"
[05:47] Fae Ruath looks around a moment then back at the two. ears more listening to the music than their banter. Her wings slowly fanning the air behind her. the inuendoes finally dawn on her and she has to stiffle another laugh with the back of her hand especially when the woman moves to hit the seated man
[05:47] Kahlan giggles "perhaps i should push you in the water to catch some?"
[05:48] Markus: "no no the rod will shrink in the cold water and that is bad for its purpose"
[05:49] Kahlan looks confused "I never knew that wooden rod could shrink.... I learn new things every day... But..what happens if it gets too hot?"
[05:50] Markus grins "not wooden and it grows" his eyes widen
[05:50] Kahlan stops playing and looks at him "What on earth are you talking about? ... wood grows...just look at all the trees.."
[05:51] Markus smiles "it grows slow my rod faster when you make it hot"
[05:51] Kahlan: "we just need to use a good hook with the rod.... and it will work..."
[05:52] Markus looks fearfully up "no, that is not my kind of fun then, my rod needs no hook at all"
[05:53] Kahlan suddenly gets what he is talking about and her face turns deep red "you are horrible Markus Scofield!" and swats him again at the back of his head
[05:53] Markus winks "and you are hot Kahlan, now I must sit down because everyone will think I am here for fishing"
[05:54] Fae Ruath goes wide eyed and laughs when the woman hits the man again
